Grant Writer, Bread of Life International, Mesquite, Texas

 Description

Our organization is in need of a "home-based" Grant Writer who can become part of our ministry.  The 
Grant Writer will work with our staff (phone, email, in person) to create grant proposals for submission to 
businesses, organizations, churches, and government funding opportunities.  As part of our ministry, the Grant 
Writer would also be involved in other phases of our work with the orphanage in Romania.  We welcome all staff 
and volunteers to make this work more than just a job.  It is a ministry opportunity that touches hundreds of 
orphans and street children and thousands of poor families and elderly Christians.
Salary is open for discussion with the candidate.

 Requirements 

It is our preference that the candidate have a heart for the poor, for orphans, and the elderly.   

Training as a Grant Writer is needed, but this can be acquired through self-study, through workshops, 
seminars, formal study, and other means.  

A successful track record is sufficient evidence of qualifications.
