 Description

Come experience the beauty of the Republic of Ecuador, South America's smallest country, and one of the most 
interesting with its varied cultures. Your project is to continue fixing the road that leads to the base, and 
prepare for the 2010 Ecuador Boot Camp. Presentations in churches and the surrounding villages will give you the 
opportunity to use your evangelism skills from Boot Camp and learn Spanish from those with whom you share.

Location:
Teen Missions in Ecuador BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center, housed in a 100-year-old Spanish hacienda, 
is located near Latacunga. Here at 9,350' above sea level, you will enjoy seeing Mt. Cotopaxi in the distance.

Sightseeing/Souvenirs:
On sightseeing day, you will visit Mitad del Mundo, where you can stand astride the Equator, one foot in the 
Northern and one in the Southern Hemisphere. Shopping in the open market gives you the chance to barter: for 
sweaters, blankets, leather goods, jewelry and dolls.

Housing:
Housing will be in dorms. Showers are available and laundry will be done using buckets.

Travel:
After completing Boot Camp, you bus to the Orlando International Airport to board a flight across the 
Caribbean Sea to Panama City, Panama. A connecting flight takes you across the Gulf of Panama and Colombia to Quito, 
the capital city of Ecuador. From Quito, high in the Andes Mountains, you bus three hours to Teen Missions in 
Ecuador BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center, near Latacunga.

 Requirements 

We welcome all who are are willing to serve! Team members are ages 13 -19 and leaders are needed ages 19 and 
up.  Leaders may bring their children.

References from people who have done Short Term Missions with this organization before are available upon
