Description

Come and serve the Lord in tropical Corozal, Belize, just one mile inland from the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. You will be building an extension onto a local church that will also serve as a hurricane shelter for the people of the village. On the weekends you will have opportunities to minister in nearby villages and towns using puppets and dramas to share God's love with all. After your time in Copper Bank, you will relocate to Honey Camp Lagoon at the Teen Missions in Belize BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center, to work alongside the students on projects at the base. You will also have opportunities to barter with the Belizeans for unique souvenirs such as hammocks, wood carvings, colorful wraps and other handicrafts. Location: Copper Bank, Belize, is located one mile inland from the crystal blue Caribbean Sea. Honey Camp Lagoon, at the Teen Missions in Belize BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center, is located outside Orange Walk Town. Sightseeing/Souvenirs: You will have an opportunity to swim in the Caribbean Sea, and to hike through the Rain Forest to experience a cave tubing expedition (floating down an underground river in an inner tube) on the Sibun Caves Branch River. The ancient Mayan ruins of Santa Rita (just north of Corozal), are some of the most accessible in northern Belize.You will also have opportunities to barter with the Belizeans for unique souvenirs such as hammocks, wood carvings, colorful wraps and other handicrafts. Housing: Housing will be in tents while in Corozal, and in dorms while at the Teen Missions in Belize BIBLE, MISSIONARY & WORK Training Center. Travel: Upon completion of Boot Camp, your team will bus to the Orlando International Airport for a flight to Miami. After a short layover, you will then fly across the Gulf of Mexico and the Yucatan Peninsula before arriving in Belize City. From Belize City you will travel two and a half hours north to the beautiful little village of Copper Bank.

We welcome all who are are willing to serve! Team members are ages 13-19 and leaders are needed ages 19 and up. Leaders may bring their children.
